I graduated with a bachelor's degree in secondary education, majoring in English. I have experience caring for my niece and my cousins' children, ranging from 9 months to 6 years old. I also completed a teaching internship with Grade 7 and Grade 11 students as part of my teaching internship. These experiences taught me to be patient, attentive, adaptable, and understanding of every child's unique needs.
I would love to become an au pair because I enjoy caring for children and hope to become part of a family while experiencing a new culture. I see this opportunity as a way to become more independent, learn a new language, grow personally, and create meaningful memories while also working toward my future and supporting my family back home.
As your au pair, I would be happy to help with your children's daily routines, learning activities, and tutoring. More importantly, I hope to be someone they can trust, learn from, and feel comfortable around. I would also love to share my Filipino culture through our foods, traditions, stories, and the warmth and hospitality that are important to me.
One Filipino saying that inspires me is from our national hero, José Rizal: "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan," meaning "The youth is the hope of the nation." I believe every child deserves love, care, learning, and encouragement.
