Dear Future Host Family,

Hello! My name is Ma. Therence, and I am 30 years old from the Philippines. I am very happy to introduce myself and share a little about who I am, my experience with children, and why I would love to become an Au Pair.

I am a caring, patient, responsible, and hardworking person. I genuinely enjoy being around children and taking care of them. I believe that children need not only proper care and attention, but also love, patience, understanding, and a safe environment where they can grow and be themselves.

I have experience taking care of children since 2017. I have my own children, and being a mother has taught me so much about responsibility, patience, and understanding children's needs. I also have many nephews whom I love spending time with and caring for. I am comfortable helping children with their everyday routines, preparing or helping with meals, bathing, keeping them clean and comfortable, playing with them, and making sure they are safe.

I understand that every child is different. Some children are quiet and shy, while others are energetic, curious, and very playful. I am willing to learn each child's personality, interests, routines, and needs. I would love to become someone they can feel comfortable with and trust.

As an Au Pair, I would be happy to help your family with childcare and reasonable light household tasks related to the children. I can help keep their rooms and play areas organized, prepare simple meals, assist with their daily routines, and accompany them during activities. I also enjoy playing games, doing creative activities, reading stories, and spending quality time with children.

One of the reasons I want to become an Au Pair is because I would love to experience living with a family from another culture. I am excited about the opportunity to learn about your traditions, language, food, lifestyle, and everyday life. At the same time, I would be happy to share Filipino culture, traditions, food, and my experiences with your family.

I know that becoming an Au Pair is not only about traveling to another country. It is also about becoming part of a family, building trust, respecting each other's differences, and creating a good relationship. I understand that leaving my home country and living with a new family can be a big adjustment, but I am willing to learn, communicate openly, and adapt to your family's routines and expectations.

I consider myself trustworthy and dependable. When I am given a responsibility, I take it seriously. I am also willing to receive guidance and learn new things because I believe that communication and willingness to learn are very important when living and working with a host family.
