Introduction
I worked as a Household Assistant in a private villa in Dubai, where I was responsible for maintaining the home, supporting the daily household routine and providing regular care for the family’s pets. I cared for two cats and two dogs as part of my daily responsibilities, so pet care was an important part of my role.
My household responsibilities included general room and bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, bed changing, surface and furniture cleaning, refrigerator and cabinet cleaning, window cleaning, carpet care, garden and yard maintenance, grocery shopping, organizing household supplies, collecting mail and running errands. I also washed and maintained the employer’s car, prepared coffee and tea each morning and helped keep the villa and surrounding areas clean, organized and comfortable.
For the two cats and two dogs, I provided regular daily care according to the household routine. I made sure they had clean food and water, kept their feeding areas clean, cleaned up after them and maintained a hygienic environment around the pets. I also spent time with them, gave them attention and monitored their general behavior and wellbeing. I understood that each pet can have different habits and needs, so I followed the owner’s instructions carefully and treated the animals with patience and care.
Working in a private home taught me to be trustworthy, responsible, observant and respectful of the family’s privacy and belongings. I was comfortable working independently and taking initiative when I noticed something that needed attention.
My main achievement was helping maintain a clean, organized and comfortable home while providing dependable daily support and consistent care for the family’s pets. I take pride in being someone an employer can trust with both their household and animals.
