Hi! My name is Mikaela and I am from Washington state in the USA. I am completely fluent in English and would love the opportunity of experiencing a new culture, and a fun family atmosphere during my summer break before I return back to college in late August. Somethings that are important to note is I only speak english, so I would need someone in the home to be flunet or very good so we can communicate easily! Another is that I am a full-time college student, and will return back to school in late August. This means that my time during this summer would be limited to be an Au Pair, and with the short notice of a few weeks flights may be above my budget, but I am willing to explore options and maybe the right fit can be made! But, I am very intrested in next summer, or possibly over winter break.
I love learning about cultures, learning dishes, languages, and immersing myself in everything that it has to offer. The main reasons I want to become an au pair is so I can learn about another country and culture, as well as building long lasting relationships with the family and the community. I believe I'll be a great candidate for a family to host because I am clean, organized, and timely. I would be qualified for this position because I've had over 5+ years of childcare experience, from watching large groups of children, to 2-4 at a time. I have ran kids camps and children's church services, as well as travled around the states while nannying. I love children I find them uplifting, joyful, and a beautiful presence to spend your time around. I'd love the opportunity to experience your family and your culture!
