My name is Raghad, I am 18 years old, and I am truly excited to introduce myself to you as your prospective Au Pair!

I grew up in a very warm, loving, and close-knit family where good morals, kindness, and mutual respect are the foundation of everything. I am the only daughter and have three amazing brothers. We are not just siblings; we are best friends who love hanging out together, talking about our days, and supporting one another. Having such a supportive family environment taught me the true value of care, communication, and trust.

My connection with children is very natural and spontaneous. I genuinely enjoy being around kids, whether we are playing or just sitting together sharing moments. Children and I share many common interests—I love cartoons, outdoor activities, and creative games! Over the years, I have gained valuable hands-on experience by babysitting my younger cousins frequently while their parents were away. I also had the meaningful experience of babysitting a child with autism, which taught me deep patience, empathy, and how to adapt to every child’s unique needs and personality.

If I were to describe myself, I would say I am a dreamer, optimistic, and self-reliant. I am always striving to become the best version of myself, and I take pride in being neat, organized, and reliable. Art is a huge part of my life—I inherited my love for drawing and painting from my father, as we used to paint together when I was little. I am also an avid reader and love getting lost in books. Moreover, I am a huge animal lover, and I have a Ragdoll cat named Raad—he is literally my everything! In my free time, I enjoy baking, cooking, watching movies, hiking, and cycling, especially when the weather is nice outside!

I chose to become an Au Pair to spend a meaningful and productive Gap Year before fulfilling my lifelong goal of studying medicine in Germany. I see this year as a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in the German culture, practice the language daily with a loving host family, and truly adapt to life in Germany. I deeply admire German discipline, punctuality, and organization, and I am eager to adopt these values into my personal life.

As part of your family, I would be delighted to help with daily tasks to make your lives easier. I love walking, so taking the children to school or kindergarten is something I would truly enjoy. I am also passionate about baking and cooking, and I would love to prepare meals for the family and learn traditional German recipes! One of my absolute favorite parts of the day with children is the bedtime routine—tidying up, putting them to bed, and reading them a sweet bedtime story.
