Dear future host family,

My name is Zahra. I’m 20 years old, from Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia. I’m in my seventh semester of English Education and will graduate in 2027. I’m creative, responsible, and I like trying new things.

I want to become an au pair because it’s a chance to learn a new culture and grow independently in another country. My parents trust and support my decision, and I want to show that their trust is well placed.

I hope you’ll consider me because I’m patient and caring with children. I help care for my 8-year-old sister every day: I wake her up, help her get ready for school, and take her there. I also pick her up from school when my parents are not available.

I qualify for this position because of my experience with children and my studies. I’ve taught kindergarten children through a volunteer activity using creative, hands-on activities, and I learned that kids understand things best when they can see and try them for themselves.

In my free time, I love reading, cooking, listening to music, and making flowers and bouquets. I also love fresh air and nature. I enjoy going to the beach and light hiking. I’d be happy to do creative or outdoor activities with your children. I’d like to be an au pair for 1–2 years. After that, I hope to continue my career in teaching and become a language assistant in Australia. I believe this experience will help me grow in my English, my understanding of other cultures, and my skills in working with children.
