Dear Host Family, ??

My name is Maryam, I am 25 years old, and I come from Agadir, Morocco. I am happy to introduce myself to you and share a little about who I am, my interests, and why I would love to become an au pair.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Studies from Ibn Zohr University, and I have also recently graduated as a nurse. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, empathy, and caring for others. I believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.

I have experience teaching English to young children, which has helped me understand their needs and personalities better. I enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn, encouraging their curiosity, and creating fun and meaningful activities with them. I believe children need not only care and attention but also someone who listens to them, encourages them, and makes them feel safe and valued.

As a person, I would describe myself as caring, friendly, open-minded, and adaptable. I enjoy learning new things, discovering different cultures, exploring new places, and meeting people from different backgrounds. I speak Arabic as my native language and I can also speak English, I have a basic knowledge of turkish and french. I would love to learn more about your language, culture, traditions, and everyday life.

For me, becoming an au pair is about much more than travelling abroad. It is an opportunity to experience life in a new culture, build a meaningful connection with a host family, and become a positive part of the children's daily lives. I would also love to share my Moroccan culture with you, introduce you to some of our traditions, and perhaps prepare a Moroccan dish for you to try!

I understand that welcoming an au pair into your home is a matter of trust. I would do my best to respect your family's values, follow your routines, communicate openly, and be someone you can rely on. I also believe that a wonderful au pair experience comes from mutual respect, understanding, and treating each other like family.
